Fairmont Canadian Western Mountain Region hotels are seeking international candidates with valid work permits, who are excited to work, live and play in Canada's Rocky Mountains. If you are looking for tourism jobs in Banff, Whistler, Jasper and Lake Louise that allow you to gain valuable work experience while you hike, ski and explore the Canadian Rockies, than we are talking to you!

International Experience Canada (IEC)

Through bilateral youth mobility arrangements and agreements with different countries around the world, Canadians and non-Canadians can travel and work in each other’s countries for 1-2 years. The three experience pools include: Working Holiday Visa, International Co-Op & Young Professionals. Only certain countries are eligible to apply for an IEC work permit.

Working Holiday Visa

Ever dreamed of taking a gap year and working beside a ski resort in Canada? This open work permit is the perfect opportunity to gain valuable tourism job experience while you live and play in the Canadian Rockies. You need to be approved for a working holiday visa before you can accept a job at any Fairmont hotel.

International Co-Op

If you are a student currently studying at a post-secondary education institution you may be able to get hotel resort work experience in your field of study with an International Co-Op work permit. You will need a job offer before you can apply for this type of permit.

Young Professionals

You can gain Canadian hospitality work experience with the Young Professional work permit. The job must have a certain classification to be eligible for this type of visa and you will require a job offer before you can apply for this type of permit.
